They both sound great, as does your playing style! To my ears, the highs and lows on the Lollars are more prominent. They have greater clarity - less to hide behind! The stock pups seem flatter to me, not that that’s a bad thing. I’m curious if you find yourself playing differently with each pickup set?

I'm looking a one of the Lollar P pickups for a P bass I'm building and that sounded good. I could hear the fundamentals on the Lollar that my ear likes.

Stock strings ?

Different strings so the bigger differrence might be the strings, not the pickups. Great playing - both sound great - for what you are playing here, i like the Nash better. But the Fender might be the better Allrounder.

Nash sounds a bit deeper, more round.

Playing through a Noble will make most anything sound great…would have liked to hear it without the tube preamp

The Lollar pickup sounds better. Having Labella flats is a good start no matter what bass.
